About Air Compressor Mag
Air Compressor Mag exists to answer one question well: which air compressor is right for what you actually want to do, and how do you keep it running.
There is no shortage of spec sheets online. What is harder to find is plain, honest guidance that starts from the job, not the marketing. That is the gap we set out to fill.
How we write
- Job first, machine second. Every guide starts from what you are trying to run, then works back to the CFM, tank size, and features that matter.
- No spec-sheet copy-paste. We explain why a number matters (and which ones you can safely ignore), rather than reprinting manufacturer claims.
- We update. Guidance and tools are revised as products and prices change.
- Independence. Some outbound links may be affiliate links. They never change our recommendations, and we do not accept payment for favourable coverage.
Tools, not just words
Where a calculation helps, we build a tool for it, like our air compressor size calculator, so you can get an answer for your exact setup rather than a generic rule of thumb.
Spotted something we got wrong, or want a guide we have not written yet? We would genuinely like to hear it.
